Economic Panorama of Latin America examines a new pattern of economic
performance. The pattern has three main element: 1) modest economic
growth rates; 2) increased control over inflation; and 3)a large and growing
current-account deficit. Included are statistical tables of gross domestic
product, consumer prices, balance of payments, prices of export products and
international bond issues. Each individual country is also examined.
